Shawshank is one of the best films ever made. So happy I saw it in an empty theatre when it was released. A few of us afterward walking out were praising how great it is. So happy so many bought it on vhs dvd and blu ray. Turner movies classics have it a new audience.

One weird interesting fact,I grew up in communist Poland and in 1984 we watch this movie on title "Electronic killer" 😂😂😂cause word terminator in polish means apprentice

I don’t watch many movies or tv. Most of it is pure dogshit. But the Shawshank Redemption is a masterpiece.

This was the first film I went to see by myself. Nearly 30 years later, I can still remember the experience. What an amazing film.

Gen X, and this is my favorite one. My personal order: H20, H40, OG Halloween, and OG Halloween 2. Though, I’m good pretending there’s only 1, 2, and H20 are the trilogy. H20 and H40 have the best storylines IMO.

Ive own this movie for the last 10 years I watch it twice a year if not more Bela Lugosi acting is spot on and with out trying he set the preidents for all the Draculas for every Dracula after that Van Helsing is a strong second in my opinion I love the original 1932,33,34 movies Dracula , King Kong , Scarface, The Mummy these movies will never die for a movie lover
